1) How do I sign up for internet at UCF?
- For Wireless Registration Information Click Here. UCF Wireless is available

- For ResNet Information Click Here>. ResNet is only available to
students living in on-campus housing.
2) I heard things are more expensive here at the UCF Computer store, than let's say, Best Buy. Is that true?
- Definitely not! The academic discount that's offered through a majority of technology manufacturers is only made available through Campus Computer Stores , occasionally book stores, and is usually the best discount you can get on your technology products unless you work for that company.
3) Does the UCF Computer Store offer financing for computers?
- We don't offer any kind of financing options, but when ordering a computer you can put down as little as 10% down payment until you pick up the computer.
4) Where can I take my computer to get fixed?
- To The PC Service Center in Computer Center I, right behind the Library, next to the Math & Physics building. For more information, visit the PC Service Center page or call 407-823-3444.
5) I'm new to UCF and want to buy something at the UCF Computer Store. What do I need to bring with me to buy something? I don't have anything except my acceptance letter, is that okay?
- If you don't have your student ID yet, just bring in your Letter of Acceptance and a valid photo ID.
6) What does the UCF Computer Store sell?
- The UCF Computer Store sells Apple and Dell computers, as well as all the latest Apple, Adobe, and Microsoft software plus just about any other software you'll need to succeed in the classroom as well as expand your mind in whichever creative way you desire. We also carry the best selection of computer bags, cases, and backpacks in the state, and just about any computer accessory or related item you can think of!
7) I'm new to UCF, what kind of computer should I get?
- That really depends on your major, your personal interests, and of course your technology preferences. Please come into the UCF Computer Store or give us a call at 407-823-5603 and talk to one of our friendly sales associates.

- At the UCF Computer Store you can get computer bags, cases, keyboards, mice, software, headphones, CPS Clickers, printers, printer accessories, hard drives, iPods & iPod cases, monitors, graphics cards, PDAs, graphics drawing tablets, computer speakers, printing paper, networking accessories, USB hubs, notebook cooling pads, surge protectors, flash drives, and so much more! If you don't see something you're looking for, let us know and most likely we can get it, and we can get it cheaper too!

- The UCF Computer Store carries Apple and Dell computers. All of the recommended bundles that we carry we suit the needs of most incoming students. - Academic discounts are usually the best discounts available aside from working for Apple or Dell.
4) What else should I get for my son/daughter to make sure they're all set before the semester starts?
- To make sure your son/daughter is all set with supplies before the semester starts, here's a small list of items to consider:

- Absolutely. Just be aware though that we'll need to speak with you over the phone to get verbal permission when swiping the credit card for everybody's security and your confirmation of the total.
6) I'm buying a computer for my son/daughter. Can I buy one for myself at the same time?
- As long as your son/daughter is present with their student ID you can purchase extra items. We don't impose any kind of stringent limitations on purchases. When your son/daughter is starting college, it's a learning process for everybody, so youre a student too!
7) I'm coming to UCF campus for the first time and my son/daughter is a new student. What do we need to bring with us to purchase at the UCF Computer Store?
- You just need to bring their student ID or a copy of their Letter of Acceptance and a picture ID (i.e. driver's license, passport, etc.).
8) Is the technology at the UCF Computer Store outdated? Is that why it comes at such great discounts?
- Definitely not! We here at the UCF Computer Store pride ourselves on making the latest and greatest technology available to our students, staff, and faculty. Technology companies offer student discounts to help lessen the financial burden of entering college and to help students start off with the best tools on the market so they're better prepared when graduating and entering the workforce.

1) Is there a faculty/staff discount?
- Absolutely! As a staff or faculty member of UCF you get the same discount as UCF students.
2) Are there any kind of financing options for faculty & staff that want to buy new computers for their personal use?
- Unfortunately right now there are no financing options, but it's something we're working on and would like to see happen! If you're interested in this option coming to UCF in the future, feel free to express your concerns to the UCF Human Resources Department!
