Purchasing Policies

The UCF Technology Product Center and Technology Service Center support the purchasing and service needs of UCF Students, Staff and Faculty.

Outlined below are criteria for ordering from the UCF Technology Product Center:
UCF Department

Please submit orders using the TPC Service Now Order Request.  All requisition forms must be signed by authorized personnel who have AXA, RFO, or DDC permissions on the UCF F&A Peoplesoft Department Authorization List (DAL).  For visibility and security each order must have (at least) two contacts associated with the purchase.  Each contact will receive order confirmations, invoices, and be able to check order status through our secure portal.

UCF Students:

Some products require us to validate that you are a current UCF student.  UCF ID or other suitable identification must be provided at the time of purchase at the TPC store.

UCF Employees (Staff & Faculty):

Some products require us to validate that you are a current UCF staff or faculty.  UCF ID or other suitable identification must be provided at the time of purchase at the TPC store.

Alumni and Retirees:

Alumni and Retirees may purchase from the Technology Product Center with the exception of some academically discounted products and devices. This contractual restriction is set by the manufacturer and not the Technology Product Center. Must have UCF ID for in store purchases.

Apple Products:

The UCF Technology Product Center is an Apple Authorized Campus Store.  Apple products are only available to purchase by UCF Students, Staff and Faculty.  A valid UCF ID is required for purchase.

Non-UCF Students:

Non-UCF Students (Community College, FullSail, etc.) may purchase from the Technology Product Center with the exception some UCF specific products which may only be purchased by currently enrolled/employed UCF students, staff & faculty.

Veteran’s Affairs Counselors and Clients:

A Veteran Affairs or Vocational Rehabilitation counselor will reach out to the TPC for a quote for either a computer bundle or other needed technology items. TPC computer bundles are tailored to your requirements of your educational program.

After the quote is approved by the counselor, authorization will be sent through Tungsten by VA to TPC and the items will be special ordered or pulled from our inventory (if available).

When items are ready for pick up you will be notified by the TPC. If your items are being shipped to you, we will contact you with shipment information when the packages have been sent.
